Privacy Policy
TeraVida (Tereza Šancová), Chemin du Bochet 6, 1028 Préverenges, Switzerland, runs this shop. This page lists exactly what is collected when you use teravida.net, and why.
What we collect
- When you place an order: your name, shipping address, email and what you bought, so the order can be made, shipped and invoiced. Your card details go straight to Stripe, our payment provider — we never see or store them.
- If you sign in to view your orders: your email address, used to send a one-time sign-in link (we don't use passwords), plus your name, preferred language and any items you save as favourites once signed in.
- If you ask to be told when something is back in stock: your email address and which item you asked about.
- If you write to us through the contact form, including about a return: your name, email and message.
- If you sign up for the newsletter: your email address, kept until you unsubscribe. The newsletter, like order emails and sign-in links, is sent from the shop's own Gmail address (Google), and every newsletter has a link to unsubscribe in one click.
- Website analytics (Google Analytics 4), only if you press "Accept" in the cookie banner. See below.
The contact, newsletter and back-in-stock forms use Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise, an invisible check that tells people from bots without puzzles. To do that, Google receives your IP address and some information about your browser and how you use the page when one of these forms loads its check or is sent, and may process them in the EU or the US. I use the result only to keep bots out of the forms.
Analytics, only if you say yes
I'd like to know which pages and pieces people enjoy, so I use Google Analytics. It switches on only after you press "Accept" in the cookie banner. Before that, or if you choose "Only necessary", nothing is sent to Google.
- What it records: the pages you visit, the products you look at, the steps of your cart and checkout, and, when you buy, the order number and the amounts. It never receives your name, email or address.
- No advertising: I don't use advertising features, Google signals or ad personalisation, and Google is told not to use this data for ads.
- IP address: Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address in its reports.
- Where it goes: to Google, which may process it in the EU or the US. A copy goes to BigQuery, a Google tool in the same project, so I can read my own numbers.
- How long: 14 months, then it is deleted, both in Google Analytics and in the BigQuery copy.
- Page addresses are sent without sign-in codes, order numbers or search words.
- Purchases: once a payment succeeds, the shop's server sends the purchase (order number and amounts, no personal details) to Google Analytics, and only if you had pressed "Accept". So that the purchase can be matched to your visit, your browser's Google Analytics ids are kept with the order and in the payment's details at Stripe until the purchase is recorded, then deleted.
You can change your mind at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer. Choosing "Only necessary" stops the sending and removes the Google cookies from your browser.
Who else sees your data
Stripe handles payments. The shop's data (orders, accounts, messages, stock) is stored with Google Firebase, in the EU. Order emails, sign-in links and the newsletter are sent from the shop's Gmail address (Google). Google reCAPTCHA checks the forms. Google provides analytics if you accept. ChartMogul, a dashboard I use to follow my sales, receives from Stripe the customer name, email, country and payments of each order. All of them only handle data for what is described on this page.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for 10 years, as Swiss law requires for business records. Everything else is kept only as long as it's needed, and removed when you ask.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to stop using it, by writing to teravida.sewing@gmail.com.
Effective date: 9 October 2026.
